around 4-5 years ago i got my first digital camera. i had always loved photography but never put the time and effort into learning the discipline it took to properly operate the tools. but as soon as i took my first digital picture, my creativity took over. global pause began as a modest token of appreciation to the beauty i saw around portland, oregon on a daily basis. before i knew it, i had 2 years worth of content and had redesigned the site a couple of times. today's version keeps an eye on simplicity so that the images speak for themselves and so i can do updates quickly. thanks to some great people linking to me across the web, i've made new friends that come to the site on a regular basis. in 2005 mooncruise was kind enough to feature me (issue 16). that feature sent many pairs of eyes to the site. it's all very flattering as i do not consider myself a photographer. i simply shoot what i like and i share it with whoever wishes to see. i do know that i am now addicted to taking pictures so this site will live as long as that addiction needs to be satisfied. i'd love to hear from you if you have anything to share about the content of the site or if you want to chat about anything relating to photography. drop me a line sometime. close page | © 2009 nadaladaDOTnet
